*Saul Davalos will be our new Repro vet*. 

 

Saul is part of the equine reproduction team at Mälaren Hästklinik, this is his third season in Sweden. Saul Davalos will be our new breeding vet.

 

During the previous seasons he has worked on:

-Stockholm Semin Station (2022) 

-Skråmsta , Ådö and Sisyfos Söderby (2023). 

This season he will work for us with the mares and the stallions.

Saul is trained in: Ecodiagnosis, insemination with chilled and frozen semen, mare synchronisation programmes, embryo transfer, mare control near foaling, stallion management, semen collection and processing.

 

He studied at the Catholic University of Valencia.

When the breeding season is over, Saul works in Spain combining his work as a teacher at the CEU University in Valencia, giving practical classes in equine medicine, with his work as a field veterinarian working hand in hand with his father, attending horses all along the Valencian coast.

Saul comes from a family of veterinarians, his father is a horse veterinarian and morphological judge of the Spanish PRE horse and his mother is a small animal veterinarian. 

In his spare time he enjoys sports, he has been playing rugby since he was 12 years old, he rides horses, plays paddle and loves to cook.
